He had a giant box full with freshly boiled eggs (they are still hot) and went round and gave every teacher two - that's some extra protein at lunch sorted.
They have had some kind of red vinegar poured over them so the taste could be interesting. I've had soy sauce coated eggs before which were quite nice....
This is what I love about China - it's full of surprises!
